ASEAN FEDERATION OF GLASS MANUFACTURES
The ASEAN Federation of Glass Manufacturers is now a 45 years-old regional industry association, composed of glass manufacturing companies in the South East Asian region.
It was formed in 1977 by 19 glass manufacturing companies from the then five member countries of ASEAN who convened on 23rd – 24th July 1977 in Manila, Philippines for the purpose of setting up a regional glass industry association. This event is then declared as the first ASEAN Glass Conference and the official birth of the AFGM.
